What will my salary be if I am moving on level transfer from another government department (OGD)?
If you're transferring to the Home Office on a level transfer from another government department, your basic pay is usually retained if your location (London or National) stays the same.
If your new role is in London location and you currently receive London Allowance separately, it will be added to your basic pay, up to the Home Office grade maximum.
If you're moving to a different region, you'll be placed on the Home Office pay range for your grade and location. All other allowances are lost, and any applicable Home Office allowances will be listed in the job advert.
