I've been placed on a reserve list, what does that mean?

Candidates who are not successful at being selected for the role they've applied for, but who have met the minimum selection criteria for appointment may be placed on a reserved list to fill future vacancies for up to 12 months.

There is no guarantee that being on a reserve list will result in a future job offer.
